Mom goes back to work...for a few weeks :(

Before I knew it, my maternity leave had come to an end and I was headed back to work to wrap up the year. Mawmaw Kathy & Pawpaw James came the first week and Gramma Mary came the second week to be with the boys. Let's just say they all had a great but exhausting time together! When Cooper reached about 6 weeks old our serious little man started smiling & laughing at everyone, especially Jack! :)

Nanny came to Texas!

At the end of May, Nanny (the boy's great grandmother) flew to Texas to come see us. This was the first time she met Cooper because she had just undergone open heart surgery a few weeks before he was born in March. We were so excited that Nanny was healthy enough to make the trip all by herself! :) She was so cute with Cooper, her 5th grat grandchild, and Jack thought she was his personal playmate! We couldn't snap a pic of Jack and Nanny because he NEVER slows down, but here's a few of Nanny & Cooper.

Jack also started wanting to help us bathe Cooper. Here's a cute shot of him "helping". :)

Ok, so I am a little behind with my blogging, but I aim to catch up today! Hang on here comes all the events from our very busy past month!

May 12th we took our first family road trip to New Orleans to watch Uncle Ray walk across the stage and become Dr. Raymond Jarvis. We are SO super proud of him!

Afterward we continued on to Houston where we spent the rest of the weekend with the Jarvis Clan. We had a great time hanging with Little Miss Taylor! She is a cutie-pie and so funny! We are so looking forward to seeing them more now that Ray, Jen & Taylor will be residing in Shreveport. (BTW-They are all settled now and Ray has had a successful first few weeks of work as Dr. Jarvis. :)
